Cabinet Secretary, Social Minister Visit Sekolah Rakyat to Support Integrated, Inclusive Education

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya and Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf Sunday (07/27) visited 10 Cibinong Sekolah Rakyat Menegah Pertama (SRMP) – people’s junior high school at Inten Soeweno Integrated Center, Bogor regency.
On that occasion, Cabinet Secretary stated that Sekolah Rakyat (the People’s School) is designed to provide an integrated learning ecosystem equipped with various supporting facilities.
“I came at the invitation from the Minister of Social Affairs, Bapak Saifullah Yusuf, to visit this Sekolah Rakyat, which is designed as an integrated learning ecosystem and equipped with modern facilities, such as classrooms, student dormitories, mosque, laboratories, library, counseling room, computer laboratories, and even soccer field,” said Teddy in the Cabinet Secretariat’s official Instagram post.
Teddy also noted that Sekolah Rakyat is a program that was initiated directly by President Prabowo Subianto to break the cycle of poverty by providing equal access to quality education for children from low-income families.
For example, he added, children who have never had the chance to attend school and students who have dropped out.
Cabinet Secretary also expressed gratitude for the warm and enthusiastic welcome he received from the SRMP 10 Cibinong students, while expressing hope that the students can achieve their dreams through the inclusive education institution.
“I hope SRMP 10 Cibinong and other Sekolah Rakyat can pave the way for students to achieve a brighter future for their families, the society, and the nation,” he concluded. (TGH/HIM) (KAT/RAS)
