Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya Calls on Cabinet Secretariat Staff to Stay Motivated and Innovate in Serving the Nation

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya on Wednesday (07/01), delivered remarks to all employees of Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, followed by a farewell and welcome ceremony for officials within the Cabinet Secretariat, at Hoegeng Hall in the Cabinet Secretariat Building.

In his remarks, the Cabinet Secretary urged all employees to stay motivated in their work and to deliver their best performance as a form of service to the nation and the state. According to him, every civil servant should continually strive to improve, work beyond the minimum standard, dare to innovate, and offer solutions in carrying out their duties.

The Cabinet Secretary also emphasized that every employee has the opportunity to continually develop their capabilities so they can contribute greater value to the organization. He also underscored the need to foster a work culture that is adaptive, collaborative, and solutions oriented.

“You have all been given the opportunity to work here, and that is already a great start. Please always nurture the motivation to become even better,” he said.

The Cabinet Secretary also encouraged employees to stay enthusiastic about developing their competencies and not to be disheartened by career changes. He noted that changes in assignments or positions are a normal part of organizational life and should be regarded as opportunities for continued growth.

“For those of you who still want to compete, keep competing and don’t lose your spirit. Moving from one position to another is not a problem,” Teddy said.

In addition to encouraging better performance, Teddy reaffirmed that every civil servants’ foremost loyalty must be to the nation and the state. He therefore called on all employees to uphold integrity, professionalism, and a strong spirit of public service in carrying out their responsibilities.

Concluding his remarks, Teddy once again reminded employees to make the most of their opportunity to serve in the Cabinet Secretariat by continuing to learn, grow, and give their best contribution to Indonesia.

“Keep learning. If an opportunity arises, take it. If it doesn’t, go and find one,” Teddy emphasized.

The occasion also featured a farewell and welcome ceremony for several Cabinet Secretariat officials. Those assuming new posts are Thanon Aria Dewangga as Secretary of Cabinet Support; Bey Triadi Machmudin as Deputy for Cabinet Meetings; Kardwiyana Ukar as Deputy for Political, Law, Security Affairs, and Human Rights; Faisal Amir Masduki as Deputy for Administration; Ida Dwi Nilasari as Deputy for Food, Infrastructure, and Regional Development; and Johar Arifin as Deputy for Human Development, Culture, and Community Empowerment.

The event also served as an occasion to honor officials who had completed their tenure at Cabinet Secretariat. Those recognized were Fadhlansyah Lubis, Secretary of Cabinet Support; Dyah Pancaningrum, Deputy for Food, Infrastructure, and Regional Development; Purnomo Sucipto, Deputy for Political, Law, and Security Affairs; and Sjahriati Rochmah, Assistant Deputy for the Organization of Cabinet Meetings.
