Cabinet Secretary Witnesses Final Match of Cabinet Secretariat Futsal Competition

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and Ibu Hani Pramono Anung on Saturday (08/12) witnessed the final match of the Cabinet Secretariat Futsal Competition in Basketball Court, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex, Jakarta.

In his remarks, Pramono Anung appreciated the event that was initiated by the Cabinet Secretariat Futsal Community.

“Let me express my congratulations to the Futsal Community of Cabinet Secretariat for organizing this program after the pandemic. And certainly, it is our joy and happiness to be able to meet, gather, and keep in touch with our families,” he said.

Pramono also encouraged the establishment of other sport communities within the Cabinet Secretariat such as table tennis, tennis, volleyball, cycling, badminton, and many others.

Earlier, Deputy of Cabinet Work Support (DKK) Thanon Aria Dewangga as the coach of Cabinet Secretariat Futsal Community stated in his report that the tournament has kicked off since May this year with nine male teams and six female teams from all deputies within Cabinet Secretariat.

This year, the competition carried out the theme “Unity” and in line with that, Thanon also said that the event is expected to further improve intimacy among Cabinet Secretariat employees.

Unity means that we want to emphasize the intimacy and sense of familiarity. And during the competition, thank God, there were great cooperation between the committee, the community, the family members, and also support from the Cabinet Secretariat’s Women Association (DWP),” he said.

In addition to the final match, the peak event of the 2023 Futsal Competition also featured a Food Festival organized by Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP. Various foods from the Cabinet Secretariat personnel were sold, such as nasi uduk, nasi bakar, es dawet, dimsum, and others.

“This is where we can convey what ‘unity’ means, not only within the Cabinet Secretariat, but also all the family members who attended the event this afternoon,” Thanon said.

Closing his remarks, Thanon also expressed his gratitude to everyone who has provided support during the event.

“Thank you to State-owned Electricity Company PLN for the support during the event, and also to GBK personnel who provided us the venue so that we could hold the final match with great fanfare,” he stated.

Manjaa United and Manjaa Girls as the Winners

The 2023 Cabinet Secretariat Futsal Competition competed for the rolling trophy, medals, and money prize to the amount of IDR75 million. In the final match, the women’s teams were Queen of the South from Deputy for Maritime and Investment Affairs (Marves) against Manjaa Girls from Deputy for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (Polhukam). The match ended with a score of 3-0 in favour of Manjaa Girls. The goals were scored by Apria Ivoni Suci with 2 goals and Riska Nurhayati with 1 goal, making it a total of three goals.

As for the final match for men’s team, Manjaa United from Deputy for Polhukam competed against Depmin United from Deputy for Administrative Affairs. The match had to be settled on penalty shootout after it ended in a 1-1 draw, with one goal scored by Dwi Anto from Depmin United and I Wayan Sulpai from Manjaa United.

During the penalty shootout, Manjaa United’s three executors, I Wayan Sulpai, Yehuda Bimo Yudanto Purwantoro Putro, and Yazid successfully broke into Depmin United’s goal, which was guarded by Dwi Anto. While Rizki Muhammad Fadilah, the player from Depmin United failed to break into Manjaa United’s goal that was guarded by Erick Mario after the ball hit the crossbar. The penalty goal from Aron Mandala Putra couldn’t help secure Depmin United from defeat against Manjaa United. The match ended with a score 4-2 in favour of Manjaa United.

Prior to the final match, the 3rd and 4th place matches were also held. For the women’s team, Srikandi Depmin from Deputy for Administrative Affairs played against D’Econ Sisterhood from Deputy for Economic Affairs. It ended with a score of 2-0 in favour of Depmin United through Penalty shootout.

Besides, in men’s team were Marves United from Deputy for Marves against Paser CF from Deputy for DKK, which ended with a score of 4-1 in favour of Paser CF.

The list of winners of the Cabinet Secretariat Futsal Competition is as follows:

Men’s team:

1st Winner: Manjaa United

2nd Winner: Depmin United

3rd Winner: Paser CF

4th Winner: Marves United

 

Women’s team:

1st Winner: Manjaa Girls

2nd Winner: Queen of the South

3rd Winner: Srikandi Depmin

4th Winner: D’Econ Sisterhood

 

The top scorers:

Men: Raihan Bari Muhammad (Marves United) with 13 goals

Women: Apria Ivoni Suci (Manjaa Girls), Femita Adriani (Manjaa Girls), and Rezky Farentina Wardhanie (Srikandi Depmin) with 4 goals
