Central Gov’t Wants to Back up Central Java’s Economic Growth Acceleration, President Jokowi Says

The Central Government is committed to support Central Java Province to boost its economic growth, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has said.

“The Central Government will provide support especially for the export-oriented industry and tourism,” President Jokowi said while delivering his remarks at a Limited Meeting on Development Acceleration in Central Java, at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Tuesday (9/7).

The President said that Central Java has a great potential in both sectors [industry and tourism], thus related ministers will provide any assistance needed. He went on to say that the measure is taken to accelerate economic growth in the region, which will also boost the national economy. (GUN/AGG/ES)
