The COVID-19 pandemic should not reduce productivity and dampen the spirit to work, according to Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.

“Some people work from home, some work from office. Because come what may, as we work for the Presidential Office, we have to serve the President and the Vice President. And in one week, there are an average of five to seven limited cabinet meetings that are convened by Cabinet Secretariat,” Pramono said in his message to staff at Cabinet Secretariat.

According to Pramono, productivity of Cabinet Secretariat has not decreased amid the current situation.

“Thanks to the advancement of technology, it is very easy for us to interact,” he said.

Pramono also said that this work pattern (working with technology) has made us aware that we can reform ourselves to be more productive, to be more useful, and to be more efficient.

“And it has been proven as there is no decline in the number of the limited cabinet meetings and the productivity in providing services to the President,” he said. (RSF/EN)
