Depart to Kuala Lumpur, President Jokowi Attend ASEAN Summit and 9 Other Summits

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, Friday (20/11) at 17:00 pm, took off from Halim International Airport, Jakarta, using the Presidential Plane Indonesian -1 towards Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend the Summit (Summit) ASEAN.
In addition to attend the 27th ASEAN Summit, according to the President Communications Team, Ari Dwipayana, President Jokowi also will attend 9 other summits, the namely the 18th ASEAN-People Republic of China Summit, 13th ASEAN-India Summit, 18th ASEAN Plus Three Summit, 3rd ASEAN-US Summit, 10th East Asia Summit/EAS), 18th ASEAN-Japan Summit, 17th ASEAN-Republic of Korea Summit, 7th ASEAN-United Nations Nations (UN) Summit, as well as the 40th Anniversary Partnership Cooperation of ASEAN-New Zealand Summit.
Menurut Ari, di sela-sela pelaksanaan rangkaian KTT tadi, Presiden Jokowi juga akan melakukan sejumlah pertemuan bilateral, antara lain dengan kepala negara dan pemerintahan Selandia Baru, Vietnam, Jepang dan juga Sekretaris Jenderal PBB.
“For the 27th ASEAN Summit, the opening ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 08:00 Local Time (WS) in the Plenary Hall KLCC, Kuala Lumpur,” Ari said through a press release on Friday (20/11) afternoon.
At the 27th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, the ASEAN Leaders will seek agreement ASEAN Convention on Trafficking in, Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the Establishment of the ASEAN Community, and Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the ASEAN 2025.
During the implementation of the summits in Kuala Lumpur, President Jokowi will be accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Rizal Ramli, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Trade Thomas Trikasih Lembong, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Agung.
