Departed for Majalengka, President Prabowo to Harvest with Farmers in 14 Provinces

President Prabowo departed for Majalengka regency, West Java province, on Monday (04/07) for a working visit. The Head of State with limited delegates, departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta at around 09.45 Western Indonesian Time by Caracal Helicopter Indonesian Air Force.
In the Majalengka regency, President Prabowo joined farmers for the paddy’s great harvest in Randegan Wetan village, Jati 7 subdistrict. This event is part of harvest season in 14 provinces and 157 regencies/cities in Indonesia, to boost national food security.
“The great harvest is not only a symbol for farming success but evidence for national agricultural increased productivity. The harvest is expected to be a crucial momentum to strengthen collaboration among central government, regional government, farmers, and agricultural stakeholders to national food sovereignty,” said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, in his written statement.
After the harvest, President Prabowo was scheduled to return to Jakarta. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya was also present during the visit.
Meanwhile, sending off President Prabowo at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta were Commander of the Jaya Military Command Brigadier General Rachmad, Deputy Chief of the Metro Jaya Police Brigadier General Police Djati Wiyoto Abadhy, Commander of the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base First Marshal National Army Muzafar, and Commander of the 051/Wijayakarta Military District Colonel Nugroho Imam Santoso.
