President Prabowo Subianto extends congratulations to all Hindus in Indonesia on the celebration of Dharma Santi 2026 on Friday (04/17).

President Prabowo Subianto extended greetings to Hindus across Indonesia for the 2026 Dharma Santi, via video on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel on Friday (04/17).

“On this auspicious occasion, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of myself and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, extend warmest congratulations to all Hindus in Indonesia on the celebration of Dharma Santi in 2026,” President Prabowo said.

The President expressed respect to Hindus nationwide and invited them to offer praise and gratitude to the Almighty God.

“As people of faith, let us express praise and gratitude to the Almighty God, Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Thanks to His grace and blessings, we can commemorate Dharma Santi 2026, Saka Year 1948, in good health and full spirit of togetherness and peace,” he said.

The President emphasized that Dharma Santi serves as a vital moment to strengthen values of togetherness in life. He highlighted the importance of harmony and unity following Nyepi celebrations and noble life principles.

“Dharma Santi is a moment for mutual forgiveness, strengthening brotherhood, and reaffirming dharma values in our lives. After Nyepi, we step forward together in the spirit of harmony, peace, and unity. The value of Tat Twam Asi—living with mutual respect and balance—is the strength of our nation,” he stated.

Moreover, he reaffirmed Indonesia’s identity as a great nation upholding diversity. “We are a great nation. A nation harmonious in diversity. A nation upholding tolerance and unity in diversity. A nation prioritizing mutual cooperation, collaboration, mutual support, and love,” he added.

The President also expressed confidence in the Hindu community’s contributions to maintaining social harmony and national unity.

“I believe Indonesian Hindus have been and will continue to be an important part in maintaining social harmony, national unity, and building a just, prosperous Indonesia standing firmly on its own feet,” he stated.

Closing his remarks, President Prabowo urged Hindus to continuously uphold the Tri Hita Karana principle.

“For the Hindus, let us always reaffirm and firmly hold to Tri Hita Karana. Maintaining relationships with fellow humans, with nature, and with God.
