Entrepreneurs Should Build Network: President Jokowi

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo reminded young people in creative business to build network and collaborate with other business people or related parties.

“Collaboration between creators, innovators, business people, who are inline with the industry, investors, financial institutions as well as government is necessary,” President Jokowi said at the opening of the 2018 Idea Fest, at JCC, Jakarta, Friday (10/26).

According to the President, consolidation between the monetary sector, fiscal sector, industrial sector, and the government must be synchronized. “This is what we need to control,” he said.

President Jokowi firmly said that Indonesia is now facing external powers. Thus, if the people are divided and do not collaborate, the President reminded, do not hope  to win the competition.

Regarding the products displayed in 2018 IdeaFest, President Jokowi said the goods quality and packaging already meets market needs.

“The key is to follow the latest trends with good quality products and attractive packaging,” said the President.

Regarding marketing, according to the President, the young people are already smart and familiar using recent technology such as online marketing. “The Government’s duty is to support the policy so they can join the real sector immediately,” the President concluded. (FID / OJI / ES)
