First Lady in Banyuwangi for Working Visit

First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin, and several members of the Solidary Act Organization of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet Tuesday (07/25) kicked off a working visit in Banyuwangi regency in East Java province.

The First Lady, Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin, and the entourage arrived at Banyuwangi International airport at 11.20 Western Indonesian Time.

Upon their arrival, the First Lady and Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin were welcomed by Banyuwangi traditional dance Jejer Gandrung Kembang Menur performed by representatives of primary and junior high school students in the regency.

The First Lady and Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin were scheduled to hold Proper Washing Hands Demo, promote Act of Solidarity for Stunting Reduction, as well as play traditional games with children at the Pendopo Sabha Swagata Blambangan at the Official Residence of Regent of Banyuwangi.

Before heading back to Jakarta, the First Lady and Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin were slated to attend Beach Clean-Up and Sea Turtle Hatchling Releases at Bangsring beach in the regency. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (AP/EP)
