First Lady Iriana Attends Spouse Program in APEC Summit

First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo Friday (11/18) in Bangkok, Thailand, attended a Spouse Program of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Summit.

The First Lady arrived at the Royal Thai Art Museum at around 09.00 local time, and was greeted by spouse of Thai Prime Minister Naraporn Chan-o-Cha.

Upon arrival, the First Lady then headed to a waiting room with other APEC leaders’ spouses while watching a traditional Thai dance performance, followed by the visit to see various handicraft products made by the Queen Sirikit Institute, traditional Thai food, and a number of art masterpieces from Thai artists.

Concluding the agenda, Ibu Iriana and other leaders’ spouses watched the arrangement of typical Thai flower phuang malai and the making of traditional Thai food lookchoop and khanom buang. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (RIF/HD/MUR)
