First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo attended a spouse program of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation in Beijing, People’s Republic of China (PRC), on Wednesday (10/18).
At the event held at China’s National Museum of Arts and Crafts, First Lady Iriana arrived at around 10.00 local time accompanied by traditional Chinese music. The First Lady was warmly welcomed by the First Lady of the PRC Madam Peng Liyuan before joining other spouses to take a group photo.
Afterward, First Lady Iriana headed to the exhibition hall to watch a number of local art activities and handcrafts, such as embroidery, silver carving, ceramics, wood and traditional fabric arts. In addition, First Lady Iriana also watched the art performance performed by Chinese children.
After visiting the exhibition hall, First Lady Iriana headed to the first floor to have tea with the spouses and watch performances. The event ended with a photo session of the spouses attending the Summit. (RKW/FI)
