First Lady Iriana, Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah Cruise Around Lake Putrajaya

During her visit to Malaysia’s federal capital of Putrajaya, Indonesia’s First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo Thursday (08/06) held a meeting with the spouse of Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah.

Unlike other meetings, the meeting took place on a cruise ship called ‘Cruise Kelah’.

After meeting at the official residence in the Seri Perdana Complex, First Lady Iriana and Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah are headed to Tasik Putrajaya Cruise dock. They also appeared to hold hands while descending the stairs to the dock located on the edge of the lake.

After boarding the Cruise Kelah, First Lady Iriana and Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah took their seats that had been prepared.

During the cruise, they were seen engaging in relaxed and warm conversations while enjoying the view of several landmarks in Putrajaya.

After cruising around Lake Putrajaya for approximately an hour, Iriana was then taken by Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah to a souvenir shop located at the Tasik Putrajaya Cruise dock where the First Lady saw various Putrajaya-themed souvenirs available in the shop. (BPMI SETPRES/AIT) (AS/EP)
