First Lady Iriana Introduces TMII to Spouses of ASEAN Leaders, Partners
First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo Wednesday (09/06) welcomed the spouses of the ASEAN leaders and partners at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Archipelago—an Indonesian themed amusement park which was located in eastern part of Jakarta—during the Spouse Program.
Among the first to arrive were Mrs. Vandala Siphandone from Laos, Mrs. Yuko Kishida from Japan, Mrs. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet from Cambodia, Mrs. Rebeka Sultana from Bangladesh, and Mrs. Jodie Hydon from Australia.
Next is the arrival of Mrs. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail from Malaysia, Mrs. Louise Araneta Marcos from Philippines, Mrs. Ritu Banga from World Bank, Mrs. Kim Keon Hee from the Republic of Korea, and Mrs. Ho Ching from Singapore.
After being greeted by Ibu Iriana, the spouses had a group photo session and then headed to the Art Market, followed by a visit to the Cultural Stage to witness the culture-based activities.
First Lady Iriana also invited the spouses to visit a number of provincial houses and MSMEs stalls by using the park’s transportation (Angling).
The visit was concluded by a luncheon accompanied by the anthems of ASEAN Countries and partners at Sasono Utomo, TMII Archipelago. (BPMI Of Presidential Secretariat/UN)(RKW/EST)
