There are thousands of house keys handed over at the Mass Contract-signing for 50,030 FLPP Affordable Housing Units in 2025, on Saturday (12/20), at Pondok Banten Indah Housing Complex, Serang City, with each key carrying a simple story about dreams that have finally come true. For the beneficiaries, a house is not merely a building, but a symbol of independence and hope for the future.
Fauzi Nurdian, a 23-year-old seblak seller, could not have imagined that his dream of owning a house would come true at such a young age. He learned about the FLPP Sejahtera mortgage program from a neighbour who also works in the housing complex.
“Alhamdulillah, I am still young but I already have a new house, and it is a nice house, Alhamdulillah, with clean water and good electricity”, said Fauzi with a cheerful face.
Fauzi also expressed his gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto for the housing program, which he considered to be very helpful for MSME players like himself. ‘To President Prabowo, I would like to express my gratitude for the housing program, which is very helpful for us as MSMEs. Thank you,’ added Fauzi.
A similar sense of joy was felt by Ahmad Kurniadi, a barber from Kalodran Village, Serang. Ahmad had been living with his parents due to financial constraints that prevented him from owning his own home. With an affordable booking fee and manageable instalments, Ahmad was finally able to fulfill his dream of becoming independent.
Meanwhile, Airin Ajiyanti Putri, a fish farmer from Solo, said that owning a house was a dream that she and her husband have long awaited. ‘I’m so happy, it’s been my dream for a long time, along with my husband,’ she said.
Airin also expressed her gratitude to President Prabowo for his affordable housing policy, which has opened opportunities for small families like hers to live more independently.
“Thank you to Mr. President for providing affordable housing for those who want to own a house. This is a dream comes true, and our families will be able to become more independent”, she added emotionally.
These stories serve as a real-life portrait of the impact of the FLPP Affordable Housing Program launched by the government. Through this housing initiative, President Prabowo Subianto reaffirms the government’s commitment to providing decent and affordable housing for low-income communities, while also promoting economic independence and the well-being of Indonesian families.
