G20 Summit: President Jokowi Attends Cultural Event

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo attended a cultural event at the Terme di Diocleziano on day one of the G20 Summit in Rome, Italy, Saturday (30/10).

The President arrived at the location, which was built between 298 and 306 AD, at 20.11 local time. The President engaged in conversation with several leaders from British Prime Minister (PM) Boris Johnson, Australian PM Scott Morrison, Dutch PM Mark Rutte, to South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

The President then joined Italian PM Mario Draghi and leaders of other countries to watch a cultural performance featuring works of art as well as musical and dance performances.

After the cultural performance, the President headed to the Palazzo del Quirinale Presidential Palace for dinner hosted bythe Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

Also accompanying President Jokowi at the dinner were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani. (Presidential Secretariat/UN) (FI/MMB)
