Gov’t Announces Six Achievements in Domestic Product Expenditure

The Government has affirmed commitment to synergize and consistently carry out affirmation action of the Domestic Product (PDN) Purchase in realizing Proud of “made-in-Indonesia” Products (BBI) through the state budget, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said.

“The affirmation action has been launched by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo through Presidential Instruction 2/2022 and now I will convey six major achievements in 2022,” Luhut said at the opening of Domestic Product Business Matching at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (03/15).

First achievement is the realization of spending by ministries/agencies (K/L), regional governments, and state-owned enterprises has reached Rp762.7 trillion. “The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) and Statistics Indonesia (BPS) estimate that the economic impact will be in the range of 1 percent which supports economic growth in 2022 of 5.31 percent,” Luhut said.

Second, the number of products displayed on the e-catalog reached 2.49 million products or exceeded the target of 1 million products.

Third, the launch of the Domestic Government Credit Cards in August 2022.

Fourth, the integration of the Government goods and services procurement data system that involving Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) has been completed.

Fifth, the implementation of the framework contract for domestic brand laptops procurement saving a budget of Rp1.8 trillion was proven to create employments and spurs innovation for the country’s youth.

Sixth, the launch of the Proud to Travel in Indonesia program on December 13, 2022 with a target of 1.2-1.4 billion trips in 2023 and has had a direct impact in tourism revenue worth around Rp3,200 trillion.

“All these targets can be achieved due to cooperation, detailed, and smart work of all ministries/institutions and local governments, including state-owned enterprises. The Government will continue to make various improvements this year,” Luhut remarked. (FID/UN) (GWH/LW)
