Gov’t Begins to Integrate PeduliLindungi App With 50 Other Apps

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin Thursday (07/10) launched the integration of PeduliLindungi QR Code with 50 other apps.

“I hereby officially launch the partnership between PeduliLindungi application with partner applications. I hope the cooperation can support the development of Indonesia’s health infrastructure in the future,” the Minister said.

For the record, the QR Code of PeduliLindungi application is undergoing trials with 50 applications, including Gojek, Grab, Tokopedia, Traveloka, Tiket.com, Dana, Living Mandiri, Cinema XXI, Link Aja, Goers, Jaki, Shopee, BNI Mobile, Loket.com, Mcash, and 35 other applications.

The Minister undescored that the PeduliLindungi application has three main functions in tackling COVID-19 pandemic, namely screening, tracing, and health protocols implementation control.

“The PeduliLindungi application will gradually cover six main areas, including trade, transportation, tourism, work activities, educational activities and religious activities,” Budi said.

In the meantime, the Ministry’s Chief Digital Transformation Officer Setiaji said that PeduliLindungi application’s data security system will be improved regularly and there is no personal data stored in the partners’ platforms. (PR of Ministry of Health/UN) (RI/EP)
