Gov’t Completes 66 National Strategic Projects for 2019-2021 Period

The Government has completed 66 National Strategic Projects (PSN) worth Rp414.3 trillion during 2019-2021 period, according to Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.

“During the President’s second term in office, the infrastructure projects that have been completed include airports, dams, roads, toll roads, seaports, special economic zones, trains, smelters, and technology-related projects,” the Minister said in a press statement after attending an evaluation meeting on the National Strategic Projects (PSN), at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java province, Tuesday (09/06).

Airlangga went on to say that a total of 30 projects worth Rp165.3 trillion had completed in 2019.

“In 2020, the Government had completed 12 projects worth Rp123.1 trillion which consisted of airports, trains, toll roads, drinking water systems (SPAM), industrial areas, and dams,” he said.

In 2021, other 24 projects worth Rp125.9 trillion had completed, including toll roads, trains, special industrial/economic zones, housing, SPAM, dams, seaports, and technology-based projects.

In the period of January-August 2022, the Government had also completed nine projects worth Rp140.1 trillion and set a target to complete 16 development projects worth Rp101.2 trillion in the period of September-December.

“We completed nine infrastructure projects in January-August 2022, including two seaports, one airport, three industrial zones, electricity projects, border areas, and power plants,” he remarked. (FID/UN) (RIF/MMB)
