Gov’t Has Started Rehabilitation of Damaged Roads in All Provinces, President Jokowi Says

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has confirmed that the Central Government is currently rehabilitating damaged roads in a number of provinces.

“The process has been started in all provinces. I have inspected the process in Lampung, Jambi, North Sumatra, and other provinces,” he said after inaugurating Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung toll road, Bengkulu province, Thursday (07/20).

He went on to say that the rehabilitation works of all damaged roads should begin no later than the end of July.

Moreover, the Head of the State also called on all sides to appreciate the progress of road rehabilitation.

“Damaged roads are found in all provinces but we need to look at the fact that these roads are currently under rehabilitation,” he remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RAS/MMB)
