Following the ruling of the Constitutional Court (MK) to reject all disputes over the results of the 2024 presidential election on Monday (04/22), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo underscored that the Government respects the ruling.

“The Government honors the final and binding ruling of the Constitutional Court,” the President told the press during a visit to State Vocational High School 1 Rangas, Mamuju regency, West Sulawesi province, on Tuesday (04/23).

President Jokowi also highlighted that the ruling showed that the allegations against the Government, including fraud, intervention by the authorities, political interference in social assistance, mobilization of the authorities, and impartiality of regional heads, were unproven.

“This is important for the Government,” the President said.

The President also called on all elements to unite and build Indonesia together. According to the President, external factors and geopolitics currently occurring can put pressure on all countries.

“It’s time to unite and work to build our country,” the President said.

The President also stated that the Government will support the transition process from the current administration to the incoming one. The process will be carried out after the General Elections Commission (KPU) makes an official ruling.

“We will prepare for it because now the court has ruled and the KPU will make an official ruling tomorrow,” he remarked. (DND/UN) (FI/MUR)
