Gov’t Opens Registration for State-run School Admission

The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) has ensured that starting Monday, 8 June 2020 (08.20 Western Indonesian Time), prospective cadets/praja/students of state-run schools can register on this following portal: https://dikdin.bkn.go.id.

This registration is carried out in accordance with the provisions contained in Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Letter number B/435/M.SM.01.00/2020.

“Registration will be closed on 23 June 2020 at 23.59 Western Indonesian Time,” Head of the Public Relations, Legal and Cooperation of the Agency Paryono said through a release received by the editorial of setkab.go.id.

For the record, six government institutions open their registration this year, namely:  Ministry of Home Affairs (Institute of Governance of Home Affairs), the State Cyber and Cryptography Agency (State Cyber and Cryptography Polytechnic), Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Correctional Polytechnic and Immigration Polytechnic), the State Intelligence Agency (State College of Intelligence), the Central Statistics Agency (Statistics Polytechnic of STIS), and Ministry of Transportation (18 State Colleges and Polytechnics).

Below are State Colleges and Polytechnics by Ministry of Transportation which are open for registration: Indonesian Land Transportation Polytechnic (PTDI-STTD), 2. Indonesian Railroad Polytechnic of Madiun,  3. Road Transportation Safety Polytechnic of Tegal, 4. River and Lake Crossing Transportation Polytechnic of Palembang, 5.  Land Transportation Polytechnic (Poltrada) of Bali, 6. Sailing State College of Jakarta, 7.  Sailing Polytechnic of Makassar, 8. Sailing Polytechnic of Surabaya, 9. Sailing Polytechnic of Semarang, 10. Sailing Polytechnic of West Sumatra, 11. Sailing Polytechnic of Banten, 12.  Malahayati Sailing Polytechnic of Aceh, 13. Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic of Curug, 14. Makassar Aviation Polytechnic, 15. Medan Aviation Polytechnic, 16. Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic, 17. Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic, and 18. Palembang Aviation Polytechnic.

On the current transition to the New Normal, Paryono stated that the BKN has not yet opened an offline helpdesk/face-to-face consultation service. Questions relating to the registration process can be submitted to: https://helpdesk.bkn.go.id/dikdin/home.

The registrants can also access the frequently asked question (FAQ) page on https://helpdesk.bkn.go.id/dikdin/faq, which summarized the most frequently asked questions as well as the solutions.

Meanwhile, questions on registration requirements to the intended institution/school can be posted through https://helpdesk.bkn.go.id/dikdin/pengaduan_instansi.

Furthermore, Paryono said that the Basic Competency Selection (SKD) test was planned to be carried out in July 2020 but the schedule can still be adjusted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic status.
