Gov’t Prepares Flag-Hoisting Team Members for This Year’s Independence Day Ceremony

The Agency for the Implementation of the State Ideology of Pancasila (AISIP) has prepared the national flag-hoisting team (Paskribraka) to serve at the commemoration ceremony of the 79th Anniversary of Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in the new capital of Nusantara (IKN).
For the record, this year’s flag-hoisting ceremony is set take place in the Merdeka Palace in the capital region of Jakarta and in Nusantara.
“The selection process has entered the central level verification stage and will be completed on June 14,” Head of AISIP Yudian Wahyudi told journalists, Monday (06/10).
According to Yudian, the 76 members selected—38 men and 38 women representing 38 provinces—will attend a training camp in Jakarta on July 12.
The AISIP, he continued, will also produce and distribute duplicates of the national flag to be used for the ceremony at the Presidential Palace, provincial/regional governments, and municipalities/regencies, as well as ensure the readiness of Paskibraka team that will serve at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta and across the country.
