Ministry of Manpower has received data from Social Security Agency for Workers (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) on prospective recipients of the Wage Subsidy Program (BSU).

The first batch of data was handed over by President Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Anggoro Eko Cahyo to Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah.

“We have signed MoU with State-Owned banks, PT Pos Indonesia, and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). We have also received the first batch of data from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. I hope we can disburse [the assistance] this week,” the Minister said on Tuesday (09/06).

After the data handover, Ministry of Manpower would check the data in accordance with provisions stipulated in Regulation of Minister of Manpower Number 10 of 2022 on Guidelines for Government Assistance in the Form of Wage Subsidy for Workers.

The requirements for the Wage Subsidy recipients include:

  • Being an Indonesian Citizen (WNI)
  • Being an active participant of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as of July 2022
  • Having a maximum wage of Rp3.5 million per month (additional provisions apply for workers in areas with minimum wage higher than Rp3.5 million)

Civil servants, personnel of the TNI and the Police, and workers who have received other Government assistance (Pre-Employment Card, Micro Business Assistance, and Family Hope Program) are not eligible for the Wage Subsidy. (PR of Ministry of Manpower/UN) (RI/MMB)
