The Government has reaffirmed its strong commitment to law enforcement and to eradicating corruption harms state finances.

The commitment was underscored at a ceremony marking the sixth phase of administrative fine transfers, state financial recovery, and forest area reclamation at the Attorney General’s Office Compound in Jakarta, Friday (04/10).

“Following the President’s instruction, approximately Rp11.4 trillion in cash has been handed over [to the state]. This amount consists of fines imposed for various legal violations and acts of corruption within forest areas,” stated Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in his remarks to the media.

According to the Cabinet Secretary, the handover ceremony is part of systematic measures caried out following the establishment of Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH) by President Prabowo Subianto last year.

The Cabinet Secretary also noted that the total amount of cash handed over to the state has reached Rp31.3 trillion to date.

“The total cash returned to the state has reached around Rp31.3 trillion since the establishment of the Task Force by the President a year ago. [Aside from] that amount of cash, there are [also] assets valued at approximately Rp370 trillion,” he said.

The Cabinet Secretary further underscored that the handover of the administrative fines was not merely symbolic but constituted concrete proof of the Government’s firm commitment to tackling legal violations and corrupt practices in Indonesia.

“This is one of many firm and concrete measures that demonstrate the Government’s commitment under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration to eradicating corruption and all forms of legal violations,” he explained.

This initiative reinforces a strong message that the state is taking decisive action to safeguard national assets and to ensure that Indonesia’s natural resources are utilized to their fullest extent for the prosperity of the people under President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership.
