Gov’t Releases Hajj Schedule for 2024

Hajj Schedule for 2024 (PR of Ministry of Religious Affairs/Rizki)

The Government, through the Ministry of Religious Affairs Friday (01/19), released the Hajj Schedule for the 2024 CE/1445 Hijri Hajj Pilgrimage.

The embarkation of the Indonesian Hajj pilgrims will start on May 12-23, 2024, for the first batch and on May 21-June 1, 2024, for the second batch. The first batch will arrive at the Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz (AMAA) international airport in Medina and the second will arrive at the King Abdul Azis (KAAIA) international airport in Jeddah.

This year, Indonesia’s hajj quota amounts to 241,000. The schedule released by the Ministry of Religious Affairs is as follows.

1. Dhū al-Qa‘dah 3, 1445 Hijri/May 11, 2024, Hajj pilgrims stay at Hajj dormitory
2. Dhū al-Qa‘dah 4-15, 1445 Hijri/May 12-23, 2024, First batch of embarkation of Hajj pilgrims (From Indonesia to Medina)
3. Dhū al-Qa‘dah 13-24, 1445 Hijri/May 21-June 1 2024, First batch of Hajj pilgrims arrive in Mecca from Medina
4. 16 Dhū al-Qa‘dah-Dhū al-Ḥijjah 4, 1445 Hijri/May 24-June 10, 2024, Second batch of embarkation of Hajj pilgrims (From Indonesia to Mecca)
5. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 4, 1445 Hijri/June 10, 2024, closing date
6. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 8, 1445 Hijri/June 14, 2024, Hajj pilgrims arrive in Arafah from Mecca
7. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 9, 1445 Hijri/Juni 15, 2024, Hajj pilgrims start Wukuf in Arafah
8. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 10, 1445 Hijri/Juni 16, 2024, Eid al-Adha
9. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 11-13, 1445 Hijri/June 17-19, 2024, Three tashreeq days
10. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 16-27, 1445 Hijri/June 22-July 3, 2024, First batch of disembarkation of Hajj pilgrims from Jeddah to Indonesia

12. Dhū al-Ḥijjah 20, 1445 Hijri-Muharram 7, 1446 Hijri/June 26-July 13, 2024, Second batch of hajj pilgrims arrive in Medina from Mecca
