Govt Repeals Government Regulation 46/1995 on Capital Market Proceedings
President Joko Jokowi Widodo on 18 June, 2019 signed Government Regulation (PP) Number 42 of 2019 on Repeal of Government Regulation Number 46 of 1995 on Procedures for Proceedings in Capital Market Sector.
The Regulation aims to provide legal certainty, with the consideration that the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has stipulated regulations on capital market sector.
“Government Regulation Number 46 of 1995 on Procedures for Proceedings in Capital Market (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 87 of 1995, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3618) is repealed and is declared null and void,” Article 1 of Government Regulation Number 42 of 2019 reads.
The Government Regulation was promulgated on 25 June 2019 by Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna H. Laoly and shall come into force on the date of its promulgation. (Pusdatin/ES)
