Gov’t, SOEs, Private Sector Join Hands to Strengthen National Defense

President Prabowo Subianto witnesses the signing of 27 contracts after the opening of the Indo Defense 2025 Expo & Forum at JI-EXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (06/11)
President Prabowo Subianto Wednesday (06/11) witnessed the signing of 27 contracts with defense industry partners, along with the launch of upgrades for 20 hospitals of Indonesian National Defense Forces, totaling a value of Rp33 trillion. The event took place following the opening of the Indo Defense 2025 Expo & Forum at JI-EXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
This large-scale contract signing underscores the Government’s firm commitment to building a strong and modern national defense system. The 27 agreements involve Ministry of Defense and a range of partners, including state-owned enterprises and private companies, namely:
- PT PAL Indonesia;
- PT Dirgantara Indonesia;
- PT Pindad;
- PT LEN Industri;
- PT Dahana;
- PT Republik Defens Indonesia;
- PT Praba Cipta Mandiri;
- PT Nusantara Turbine Propulsi;
- PT Agrapana Nugraha Katara;
- PT Tesco Indomaritim;
- PT Indonesia Defence Systems;
- PT Aggiomultimex International Grup;
- PT Sapta Cakra Manunggal;
- PT Mitra Harapan Abadi;
- PT Mulia Buana Dharma Trans;
- PT Ellips Projects UK,
- PT Noahtu Shipyard.
Previously, President Prabowo also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Turkish Defense Industry Secretary Haluk Görgün on cooperation in procuring fifth-generation fighter jets.
