Gov’t to Provide Creative Hub for MSMEs in Puncak Waringin

In a bid to add values to regional economy in Puncak Waringin in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province, the Government has announced it will provide a creative hub for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the area to exhibit and display their works.

“There will be various training related to tourism sector and MSMEs. We want to improve the quality of their products, including design, packaging, as well as product branding,” President Jokowi said during the inspection of Puncak Waringin, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Monday (20/1).

Regarding human capital, the President continued, the Government will cooperate with several employers to increase the number of qualified local human resources there.

“We will cooperate with PT ISS or Kompas to build higher standards of human resources. The training should encourage them to stop littering and become tourists-friendly,” President Jokowi said. adding that human capital development will also be done in Puncak Waringin Creative Hub area.
