The construction of 58,000 irrigation systems and 1.1 million meters of bridges were also funded by Village Funds. Infrastructures development must be carried on because the budget allocation for this Funds will also increase every year, he added.
President Jokowi went on to say that village residents must procure construction materials from the village and hire local workers in developing infrastructures, so Village Funds amounting to Rp 257 trilion will be optimally used, and will not return to the Central Government.
On that occasion, the President added that the Government will simplify the Village Funds Reporting process if the procedure is still complicated.
