President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo admitted that he is sad seeing that social media is rife with hate speeches, derides and bullies towards each other.

The President stressed there is no scorn, bully and insult in ethical and religious values.  Therefore, President Jokowi asked teachers who attended the event to give assistance to the students to use social media positively. Likewise, the KIP recipients were asked to use their smartphones and gadgets for positive things.

“Do not post unpleasant things on the social media . Do not deride and insult each other,” the President once again reminded.

On the occasion, President Jokowi also congratulated teachers who have received certification. He said that with the certification, teachers can get additional monthly allowances.

“I also need to convey that I have signed Government Regulation on Holiday Bonuses for State Apparatuses including teachers. So, teachers will get Idul Fitri holiday bonuses and extra salary,” continued the President.
