Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung
Indonesia is not the only country in the world facing COVID-19 pandemic; more than 200 countries are also facing the pandemic, according to Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
“Nevertheless, I believe that Indonesia as a big nation, as a fighting nation, as a strong nation, as a winning nation, as a resilient nation, can triumph over the battle against COVID-19 pandemic,” Pramono said.
Therefore, according to Pramono, solidarity, gotong-royong (mutual cooperation), and self-discipline are imperative.
“The Government has repeatedly reminded the people to always practice physical distancing, to wash hands, to wear a face mask,” he said, adding that those are measures to win the battle against COVID-19.
“Compared to what have been done by other countries, we believe, the Government believes, that what we have done is on the right track,” Pramono said.
On that occasion, Cabinet Secretary also expressed hope that Indonesia can immediately tackle the pandemic and the people can return to normal life.
“Therefore, the key is gotong royong (mutual cooperation) and solidarity,” he said. (RSF/EN)
