Indonesia on Sunday (8/3) confirmed two more cases of corona virus, bringing the total of confirmed cases in the country up to six people, Ministry of Health announced.

“Based on laboratory test, the fifth case, called case 05, is a 55-year-old male who is part of Jakarta cluster (referring to a number of suspected and confirmed cases connected to a Japanese woman who tested positive for COVID-19 in Malaysia after visiting Jakarta in February),” Secretary to the Directorate General of Disease Control and Prevention of Ministry of Health Achmad Yurianto said in Jakarta, Sunday (8/3).

“The sixth case, called case 06, is a 36-year-old male who was infected on Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan when he worked as a crew member.
Achmad said that both patients are stable, do not require oxygen or IV fluids, fully conscious and do not have a fever, cough, or runny nose. (TGH/EN)
