President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Tuesday (8/10) held a bilateral meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Delegation Room at the Istana, Singapore.

During the meeting, President Jokowi and his Singaporean counterpart witnessed the signing of the following two MOUs, namely on Electronic Data Exchange to Facilitate and Secure Trade signed by Indonesian Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Singapore Minister of Finance Heng Swee Keat and on Cooperation of National Archives of Indonesia and Singapore signed by Acting Head of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) Muhammad Taufik and Chief Executive Officer of the National Library of Singapore.

After witnessing the signing of the MOUs, PM Lee and President Jokowi delivered a joint press conference at Yusof Ishak Room at the Istana. PM Lee Hsien Loong is scheduled to host a dinner with President Jokowi on Tuesday evening.

Joining the President during the meeting were Coordinating Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Mohammad Nasir, Minister of Defense Ryamizard Ryacudu, and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Thomas Lembong.
