President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (01/20) attended the business and investment forum followed by a luncheon hosted by Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Lammy at the Lancaster House, London.
The President’s attendance at the forum reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening strategic economic and investment partnership with the United Kingdom.
The forum featured an introduction session of the United Kingdom business delegation facilitated by the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham), followed by the introduction of the Indonesian business delegation led by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).
The session served as a strategic platform to connect business communities from both countries and explore opportunities for tangible cooperation in the trade, investment, industry, and technology sectors.
The forum proceeded with a question-and-answer session between business participants and President Prabowo Subianto.
During the session, the Head of State welcomed aspirations, insights, and investment interests from a number of companies, as well as responded to various issues and partnership opportunities.
The dialogue took place in an interactive manner and reflected the business community’s enthusiasm for Indonesia’s development and economic policies.
Concluding the forum, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Lammy and President Prabowo Subianto posed for a group photo with delegates and invitees at the Grand Staircase of Lancaster House.
The meeting marked the conclusion of the business and investment forum and luncheon.
