Honorable Vice President and President-elect,
Distinguished Ministers and Vice Ministers, TNI Commander, Chief of Police, Attorney General, Head of National Intelligence Agency,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is the final Plenary Cabinet Meeting of the Indonesian Onward Cabinet. On this special occasion, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for your hard work and dedication in implementing the administration’s programs and realizing the vision of the President and Vice President amidst various challenges.

Our term will conclude on October 20th, and the new administration, led by General (ret.) Prabowo Subianto, will take over. In this context, I would like to underscore several things.

First, we must prioritize completing the primary programs in these final months, focusing on budget utilization, administrative tasks, accountability, and unresolved challenges.

Second, we must support the president-elect’s initiatives and ensure a smooth transition. If new regulations or policy frameworks are required, please expedite their formulation and completion, particularly for the flagship programs of the president-elect, so the new government can hit the ground running after the inauguration.

Third, we must maintain a stable environment. Stability is crucial for continued growth and development. Ensure there are no disruptions until the next cabinet is formed. This includes safeguarding people’s purchasing power, controlling inflation, fostering economic growth, maintaining security and order, and avoiding extreme policies that could negatively impact the broader community or cause unrest.

Lastly, I would like to offer my sincerest apologies to all of you. If there have been any interactions over the past decade that were less than ideal or suboptimal, I apologize.

That concludes my remarks at this auspicious occasion.
