Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

May peace be upon us all,

Distinguished Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia;

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This afternoon, we would like to begin a limited meeting on Economic Activities and Tourism after PPKM Policy Revocation.

First and foremost, I noticed on the ground that Manado has started to welcome tourists. In Bali, flights have started to bring in both international and domestic tourists.

I would like to ask a report from Minister of Tourism [on tourist statistic] including investment in tourism sector, especially in Labuan Bajo, Mandalika, Toba, and Likupang.

Second, on economy including issues related inflation and increase in goods and service prices. I noticed that it must be concerned, especially related to [the price] of rice, as well as [the price] of cooking oil. It must be monitored.

On investment, I would like to order Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investments Affairs, Minister of Investment to deliver a report on what we have to do in 2023, especially breakthrough for increasing investment in our country.

That concludes my speech.
