Investment Minister: 2022 Investment Realization Meets Target
Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia Wednesday (01/11) announced that Indonesia’s investment realization in 2022 will meet the target.
The statement was made by the Minister after attending the Limited Meeting on Evaluation of 2022 Investment Realization and 2023 Investment Target.
“Insyaallah (thank God) investment target in 2022 will meet the target or will exceed the target. However, the figure and the breakdown will be unveiled in the official release from Ministry of Investment,” Bahlil said.
For the record, Indonesia has set a target of Rp1,200 trillion in investment realization in 2022, while the 2023 target is set at Rp1,400 trillion.
On that occasion, Bahlil underscored that the Ministry will continue to carry out improvement on Indonesia’s investment climate.
Bahlil further said that there are no obstacles in obtaining the Business Permit Number (NIB) through OSS (the Online Single Submission) system for small and medium-sized enterprises. However, as for large-sized enterprises, there are still obstacles in obtaining the draft of the detailed spatial planning (RDTR) and the environmental management and monitoring work plan (RKPPL).
Echoing the same sentiment, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that the Government will continue to carry out enhancement on regulation in order to boost the country’s investment climate. (MAY/UN) (AP/RAS/MUR)
