ITUC General Secretary Commends Indonesia’s Employment Policy

President Prabowo Subianto on Monday (10/11) welcomed International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) General Secretary Luc Triangle and ITUC-Asia Pacific General Secretary Shoya Yoshida at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli noted the meeting was a view exchange on employment issues, both national and international. He added that it also discussed the ITUC recommendation on international employment issues.
“He [Luc Triangle] shared his view on international employment issues and expressed his appreciation of Indonesia’s achievements. He also underlined some points of recommendation,” said Yassierli to the media.
The meeting reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to further strengthening social dialogue with both national and international workers’ organizations to promote a fair, productive, and sustainable work environment.
Joining President Parabowo in the meeting were Minister of Manpower Yassierli, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RD/LW)
