Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah has launched the 2021 Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) Command Post which aims to provide information, consultation, and complaint services on the implementation of THR payments.

“The THR Command Post is a form of government facilitation for the workers so that they can receive the allowance on time according to the prevailing regulations,” Ida said in Jakarta, Monday (19/4).

She explained that the Command Post provides several services that can be accessed by workers, employers, and general public. The Post can be accessed through offline service at the One-Stop Integrated Service Facility (PTSA) of Ministry of Manpower on Jalan Gatot Subroto Kav. 51 Building B 1st Floor, South Jakarta.

Meanwhile for the online service, the public can reach it at website assistance.kemnaker.go.id and 1500 630 call centers. The service starts from 20 April to 20 May 2021 during working hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Command Post involves a Monitoring Team from Workers/Labor Unions and from Employers’ Organizations of the National Wage Council who will monitor the operation of the Post, as well as provide advice and input regarding the implementation of the Post’s duties.

Minister of Manpower said that the Command Post will be formed not only at the Central but also in provinces and regencies/cities throughout Indonesia. She expressed hope that the Command Post can run well in orderly and effective manners, and can satisfy all parties, namely workers and entrepreneurs.

For companies who violate the implementation of the 2021 THR, Minister of Manpower asks governors, regents and mayors to impose sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

However, the Government provides concession for companies still affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and unable to pay the THR according to the specified time, they can pay at the maximum of one day before Eid Al-Fitr.

“However, companies must carry out a dialogue with workers to reach an agreement based on transparent financial reports and report in writing to the local manpower office before D-7 Eid,” she said.

Previously, Minister of Manpower had issued Circular Letter (SE) Number M/6/HK.04/IV/2021 on the Implementation of the 2021 Religious Allowance (THR) for Workers in Companies which obliged employers to give full Religious THR to their workers on H -7 Eid Al-Fitr.
