Sharing a similar sentiment, Air Force Chief of Staff Marshall Fadjar Prasetyo stated that the Air Force will give its support for the Government’s effort to mitigate COVID-19, including by sending medical tools to rural areas.

“The Air Force will support [the government’s efforts], for example by sending medical tools to rural areas with an airport and/or air force base, while continuing  to perform our regular duties to maintain the nation’s sovereignty,” he said.
