Minister Calls on Public to Celebrate Independence Day through “Rumah Digital Indonesia”

The Government warmly welcomed and fully supported “Rumah Digital Indonesia”, a platform to celebrate the commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day amid COVID-19 pandemic.
The Rumah Digital Indonesia is a form of expression, innovation that demonstrates Indonesia’s fiery spirit in celebrating the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day, according to Minister of Communications and Informatics Johnny G. Plate on Friday (30/07).
Johnny further said that the Rumah Digital Indonesia showcases Indonesia’s ability to adapt to the technology amid COVID-19 pandemic and also reflects Indonesia’s consistency to remain committed to internalizing nationalism and patriotism values.
For the record, the Rumah Digital Indonesia is a platform devised by the Government to virtually celebrate the commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day so that all people can feel new experiences and enjoy a host of entertainments through official website of the Rumah Digital Indonesia, www.rumahdigitalindonesia.id from 1 August to 31 August 2021 without any charge.
Furthermore, Johnny said that this innovation goes hand in hand with Ministry of Communications and Informatics’s main responsibility to encourage technology innovation as a part of the solution that brings benefits to the state, people, and nation.
