Minister of State Secretary Pratikno has received Letter of Approval from the House of Representatives on the nomination of new Police Chief after the House is agreed to appoint Comr. Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo as the new Indonesian National Police Chief.

For the record, Comr. Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo will replace Idham Azis who reaches retirement age on 30 January.

Also on that occasion, the Minister received Letter of Approval for nomination of members of the Board of Supervisors of the Investment Management Institution (LPI).

The House has given approval to Darwin Cyril Noerhadi, Yozua Makes, and Haryanto Sahari to become the members of LPI’s board of supervisors.

After the approval, the appointment of the new Police Chief and members of the board of supervisors of LPI will be stipulated under two Presidential Decrees.

Meanwhile, the inauguration of the new Police Chief will take place before term of office of the current chief ends by the end of January 2021. (MINISTRY OF STATE SECRETARIAT PR/PBK/UN) (RAS/MMB)
