In commemorating the month of Indonesia’s Independence Day, Ministry of State Secretariat holds an archive exhibition entitled “Semangat Membangun Negeri” (The Spirit of Nation-Building). Starting from today until 31 August 2018, visitors can come to the Multipurpose Hall in Building III of Ministry of State Secretariat, Jalan Veteran No. 17-18 Jakarta to enjoy the exhibition.

To attract visitors, Ministry of State Secretariat sets it up with an elegant and modern setting. Even, several archives will be displayed in 3D.

The exhibition offers nostalgic memories from the 4th Asian Games held in Indonesia back in 1962 and historical memories during other sports events, such as the Asian Games, SEA Games, Thomas-Uber Cup and GANEFO (the Games of the New Emerging Forces).

Besides showing the performance of Indonesia in sports, the exhibition will also remind the public about the success of the leaders who have successfully brought Indonesia to the international arena as it is known today.

It displays achievements of all Indonesian Presidents, from the First President Soekarno to the Seventh, Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. Moreover, Ministry of State Secretariat shows other sides of the Presidents of Indonesia through photos with their beloved family.

The exhibition does not forget to show the great role played by the seven Presidents to maintain unity in diversity in Indonesia. Their effort is displayed as well in this five-day exhibition. (Humas Kemensetneg/EN) (GWH/MMB/Naster)
