Following the disclosure of the names of ten candidates of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) future leaders, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo told the selection committee to take into account inputs from the public in the selection process.

“(The inputs) must be taken into account to assess what has been done by the committee,” the President said when receiving the committee at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday (2/9).

For the record, the committee met with the President to submit the list of those ten candidates who have completed interviews and public tests.

On that occasion, the President also thanked the committee for its hard work and commitment in conducting the selections from the beginning until the current stage. “This has been a long process,” he said.

Afterwards, the list of those ten candidates will be submitted to the House of Representatives Commission III for a fit and proper test.  (MAY/RAH/ES)
