The 2018 Our Ocean Conference (OOC), set to be held on 29-30 October in Bali, reflects the trust from international community for Indonesia in organizing world-class events.

“We want to build and maintain trust from international community to prove that Indonesia is a great country,” President Jokowi said when delivering his remarks in Limited Cabinet Meeting on Preparation for the 2018 Our Ocean Conference at the Bogor Palace, West Java, Monday (22/10). The President went on to say that the conference shall serve the national interest of Indonesia.

Also present during the meeting were Coordinating Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut B. Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Communication and Informatics Rudiantara, Minister of Health Nila F. Moelok, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan, Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Sofyan Jalil, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna H. Laoly, Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri, Minister of Defense Ryamizard Ryacudu, Head of the Creative Economy Agency (BEKRAF) Triawan Munaf, Deputy Minister of Finance Mardiasmo, and Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.
