Pancasila Tangguh Team to Hoist National Flag at Merdeka Palace

National flag-hoisting troop (Paskibraka) members from Pancasila Tangguh (Resilient Pancasila) team were assigned to hoist the national Red-and-White flag on the flag-hoisting ceremony at the commemoration of the proclamation of Indonesia’s independence on Wednesday (08/17).

Pancasila Tangguh team consists of high-school students from all over Indonesia. Among them are I Dewa Ayu Firsty Meita Dewanggi representing Central Java province assigned to carry the national flag, Rafly Tri Aditama representing Central Kalimantan Province who was in charge as a commander, Mario Adhiyaksa Sihombing representing North Sumatra Province assigned to spread the flag, and Bramantya Rizky Wiratama representing West Java province who was in charge of hoisting the flag.

For the record, the ceremony was commanded by Navy Colonel Andike Sry Mutia, the Commander of Marine Education Center for Marine Operations Education Command of the Naval Doctrine, Education, and Training Development Command.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of Permanent Garrison I/Jakarta Brigadier General Novi Helmy Prasetya acted as the ceremonial officer and Commander of Rifle Company of Mechanized Infantry 202/Tajimalela Infantry Captain Arya Dwinanda Wijayendra. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (DH/HD)
