Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Monday (05/19), invited President Prabowo Subianto to visit a Thai cultural exhibit held at the hall of the Santi Maitree Building in the Government House complex, Bangkok.
The visit to the exhibit that showcases the abundance of Thai fine arts, traditional handicrafts, and authentic cuisine is part of a series of the President’s official visits to Thailand.
President Prabowo seemed enthusiastic while watching the process of making several Thai crafts. He also conversed with the artisans, showing his interest in the cultural value of each artwork. The President also tried Thai authentic dishes served at food booths.
On that occasion, PM Paetongtarn accompanied him while explaining the philosophy of each artwork and culinary dish presented.
This visit not only demonstrated the soft side of diplomatic relations but also strengthened the cultural bridge between the two friendly countries, highlighting that Indonesia-Thailand relations are also built through cultural diplomacy. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (DH/MUR)
