President and First Lady Visit Blitar and the Borobudur

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, on Monday morning heading to East Java and Central Java in the framework of a working visit in the two provinces.

President Jokowi and his entourage flew to Java from the Air Base of Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) Halim Perdanakusumah, Jakarta, using the  Presidential airplane.

A number of state officials accompanied the President, among others Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security, Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno, Minister for Administrative Reform, Yudhy Crishnandy, and National Police Chief Police General, Badrodin Haiti.

President is also scheduled to hand out the cards: Indonesia Health Card (KIS), Indonesia Smart Card (KIP), and Families Welfare Card(KKS) in the Borobudur village.

Presidential Airplane took off from Halim Perdanakusumah air base at around 7:05 pm towards Abdurahman Saleh Airport in Malang. From Malang President will immediately leave for Blitar.

During his visit to East Java, President Jokowi is scheduled to attend the Commemoration of Pancasila Birth Day 1 June in Blitar.

While on a visit to Central Java, President is scheduled to attend a Commemoration Day Vesak at the Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Central Java.

President is also scheduled to hand out the cards: Indonesia Health Card,  Indonesia Smart Card and Families Welfare Card in the village of Borobudur.

Pilgrimage to the Tomb of Bung Karno

President Jokowi Monday (1/6) in Blitar is scheduled to be a pilgrimage to the tomb of the first President Soekarno.

Will present, among others, Chairman of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, Chairman of the Assembly Zulkifli Hasan, Minister Coordinator of Human Development and Culture (PMK) Puan Maharani, Social Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and others.

A number of ministers were reportedly would come to socialize government programs. President Jokowi and Zulkifli Hasan will also launch a movement ‘This a New Indonesia’. Humas Setkab/ES)
