President Erdoğan Wishes Eid al Adha to President Prabowo

On Friday (06/06), President Prabowo Subianto spoke by phone with President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who wished Eid al Adha and expressed his support to President Prabowo’s administration.

“This afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto spoke by phone with President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who wished Eid al Adha. President Erdoğan also expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian people as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, and prayed for the success of President Prabowo’s administration and the Indonesian nation,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said.

During the phone conversation, President Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the best wishes and prayers, and responded with the hope that the brotherhood and cooperation between Indonesia and Türkiye would continue to be strengthened.

Previously, during the Eid al-Fitr moment last April, President Erdoğan also conveyed Eid greetings to President Prabowo. This cross-country communication marked the strong relationship between the heads of state and the close cooperation between Indonesia and Türkiye.
